Description Converted to A-26C with glass nose. Silver and blue polyurethane paint with World War II markings. Control surfaces recovered in 2002. Licensed in Experimental/Exhibition Category. Currently undergoing maintenance/annual inspection.
Manufactured by Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, CA in November 1944, this A-26 saw service in Europe with the 9th Air Force during the Battle of the Bulge. It also has a service history during the Korean War with the 3rd Bomb Wing, Far East Air Forces, Kunsan AB, Krea.
